Round-bottom tubes
We manufacture test tubes and centrifuge tubes in standard sizes, as well as in special dimensions and designs, from soda-lime glass, borosilicate glass, neutral glass and quartz glass – with or without a beaded rim. All standardized tubes have a fire-polished rim and can be made with a round, flat or conical bottom. During production, we are able to process tubes with diameters of up to 40 mm and lengths of approx. 500 mm, even with large wall thicknesses.
Special micro reaction vessels
We are able to manufacture micro reaction vessels in the style of round-bottom tubes, in other words with very small dimensions. One example here would be the round-bottom tubes made from soda-lime glass, with their 3 mm diameter, 20 mm length and fire-polished rim.
Micro test and micro sample tubes
The handling and storage of small sample quantities requires the use of small sample tubes.
We have tailored our production capacities to these requirements and expanded them accordingly. This means the production of very small and short sample tubes does not present any issues for us. For example, we can manufacture your tubes with a diameter of 3 mm and a length of 20 mm.
SPECIAL
We have already manufactured special customer-specific solutions for this product group. Further examples of special products can be found under the respective product category or under Special Solutions.
Test tubes with groove for thermal processes
These special test tubes have been developed in order to guarantee ventilation of the sample chamber during a thermal process. The groove prevents a complete sealing and, in turn, a build-up of pressure.
Test tubes with hole
Test tubes with a lateral hole have various advantages. A hole on top of the rim can be used as a vent or for inserting a measuring probe, as well as a thermal element. A hole at the bottom serves as an inlet for adding a sample to the tube. It can be used, for example, to bring the sample closer to a sensor or extract a defined amount of sample material.
Mini test tubes with beaded rim
Storage and analysis of small samples
With the additional beaded rim, our test tubes can be hung up in a heating coil, for example, to slowly evaporate or incinerate the sample. Hanging freely, the tube can expand during heating, while the beaded rim prevents it from slipping through the heating coil. The test tubes can be adapted to your individual requirements.
